WOWAN, Qld, Feb 7 AAP - Queensland - drought stricken one day, flooded the next.
It took just a few hours for one of the Rockhampton region's worst-ever droughts togive way to devastating floods, dumped by ex-cyclone Beni.
Fred Naylor, a farm mechanic from Kabra, west of Rockhampton, lost almost everythinghe owned in an early morning deluge.
He said today the shift from dry to wet caught everyone by surprise.
"It was a matter of hours," he said.
