VIC:Victoria's bushfire towns look to future

MELBOURNE, Feb 3 AAP - As he looks up and down the main street of the town that has
been home to five generations of his family, Bruce Ackerman is as positive as anyone is
entitled to be.

Ackerman has lived all his life in Marysville, the holiday village that along with
nearby Kinglake, Strathewen, Narbethong and Flowerdale suffered devastating damage in
the Black Saturday bushfires of February 2009.
